Mickey Molinari is an alt rock, pop-punk, and emo drummer based in the hotdog loving city of Chicago. With over 25 years of being highly involved in the music industry, Molinari has established himself as a highly respected, dynamic musician within the Midwestern and national music scenes.
Mickey’s signature eccentric rhythms and high-energy stage presence have anchored several influential acts. He serves as the long-time drummer for the renowned Chicago pop-punk band Showoff. Over his extensive career, his versatile talents have also led him to record and tour with a diverse roster of notable bands, including August Premier, Danger Is My Middle Name, Blood People, and legacy pop-punk group Allister.
His artistic drive does not stop there. Molinari loves all forms of art, including the paintings that inspired Ghosties. What started as another way to express himself, quickly turned into an influx of requests to share his art with those who feel connected to the emotions felt in the Ghosties. The goal is to help his audience feel seen and understood.
